Of the Anubias varieties, Afzelli has a slender leaf coming to a point adding beautiful contrast when planted with broad leaf varieties. Roots do not need to be in substrate for the plant to thrive. Growth Rate Slow growth rate.  Lighting Low to moderate lighting requirements. An undemanding species of plant, but ensure leaves are wiped free of algae to ensure adequate photosynthesis.
