Chlorophytum bichetii, often known as Mini Spider Plant, is a hardy, ornamental species recognized for its narrow, arching leaves with green centers and creamy white margins. While commonly used as a terrestrial or paludarium plant, it is occasionally included in aquascapes for temporary use, particularly in emersed or semi-aquatic setups. Its grass-like form adds vertical movement and contrast when positioned along the edges of ripariums, paludariums, or in open-top aquariums above the waterline. Chlorophytum bichetii thrives in high humidity and indirect light, and while not a true aquatic plant, it can be a valuable accent in hybrid layouts where roots stay moist but foliage remains above water.
