Description

One of the most popular Malawi Cichlids. Hardy and easily kept. They can be quite territorial when it comes to defending females, so the tank needs to have plenty of hiding places to allow a community to successfully exist. We stock a huge selection of fish tank aquarium decorations online.   Features of Electric Blue Cichlids Iceberg: The male iceberg blue develops blue in head, body and fins. The dorsal fin will show red, orange or yellow over the blue. Female remains silver; however mature females may show slight hints of blue in the head, body and fins. Average lifespan : 8 -10 years   The Best Aquarium Size for Cichlid: The minimum tank size for Electric Blue cichlids is 100L. Note that several females should be kept per male in order to reduce harassment, and only one male should be kept in the colony unless the aquarium is bigger than 300L.
