Description
The Murray-Darling form of Mogurnda adspersa is considered endangered. Wild populations are greatly reduced compared to historical distributions and are fully protected, it is already declared extinct in Victoria. Our Inverell fish are legally bred in captivity. They are suitable for either heated or unheated tanks (if temperature is at least 10 C.)

Diet:
Southern Purple Spotted Gudgeon's are predatory carnivores and are easy to feed. They readily accept small sinking pellets as the primary diet. Naturally they have a high protein diet eating insect larvae. For healthy Southern Purple Spotted Gudgeon, ensure to feed a varied diet that includes live, frozen and freeze dried blackworms, bloodworms, brine shrimp and daphnia.
