Description

Native to tropical South-East Asia, Blue Stricta is a popular midground to background plant where its large deep green foliage makes a dense wall of colour. It is relatively undemanding and will establish itself well in an aquarium with moderate to high lighting. Blue Stricta will utilise nutrients in the water column in the form of liquid fertilisation, however supplementation is not required as this plant uptake nitrates in the aquarium as a form of nutrients. This plants grows well in most aquarium substrates. Lighting Blue Stricta has moderate lighting requirements for healthy growth, but is relatively undemanding.
