Description
Julidochromis are small-growing freshwater Dwarf Cichlids. They are commonly called Julies and are found in Lake Tanganyika in Eastern Africa. As Julidochromis' basic needs are fulfilled, they are easy to spawn and care for in the aquarium. It is recommended to keep only one species of Julidochromis in a single aquarium, as the species within this genus tend to hybridise easily.
Sexing is very hard, so young groups should be kept together until they pair off naturally. Once a pair forms (this may take a year or more) the other fish should be removed as the pair will remain together for life. Buy Live Fish online with Coburg Aquarium in Australia
