Description
Ludwigia glandulosa is a beautiful coloured aquarium plant. It does have lighting and nutrient requirements to do well, and does benefit from Co2 use. Ludwigia glandulosa is an excellent feature plant.
When grown with strong lighting, Co2 supply, and nutrient rich substrate, it develops magnificent wine-red leaves.

Intermediate. Ludwigia glandulosa prefers a balance of good lighting and nutrients. It is moderately demanding.

Growth Rate
Moderate growth rate. Ludwigia glandulosa will utilise nutrients in the water column in the form of liquid fertilisation, and prefers a nutrient rich substrate. Ludwigia glandulosa develops deep red wine leaves with good light, nutrient and Co2 supply.
Lighting
Prefers moderate to high lighting for colouration. With lower levels of light, Ludwigia glandulosa has greener leaves and may drop it's lower leaves.
