Mini Vallisneria

Mini Vallisneria is dark green with narrow strappy leaves and a popular aquarium plant. Suitable as a mid-ground plant, and background plant in smaller aquariums. The leaves are much narrower than other species of Vallisneria, and not as long.  Mini Vallisneria produces offshoots readily in the aquarium and will form compact growth in ideal conditions. Growth Rate Moderate growth rate. Mini Vallisneria can be planted in gravel, sand and nutrient rich substrates. They are root feeders and benefit from additional iron. Lighting Low to moderate lighting requirements.
