The Super Green Texas Cichlid is a hybrid freshwater fish that was developed by the cross breeding of Flowerhorn Cichlid (Cichlasoma sp.) and Texas Cichlid (Herichthys cyanoguttatus). As a hybrid cichlid, the apparence of each fish varies widely, a few specimens will develop to show the brilliant green and black colorations, others may not.
